Inn Policies

For a small inn, we found over the years that the following make for a pleasant arrangement and stay for most!  Please call Jan and let her know what you need

  1. BulletMinimum Stay is two nights only over the three summer holidays including Memorial Day, 4th of July if it falls on or next to a weekend, and Labor Day.  Special events such as the Hopkins Shoot and Washington College graduation weekend are two night minimums.

  2. BulletA deposit for the first night’s stay is required for reservations.  And payment is requested in   cash or check please.

  3. BulletCancellation is 48 hours in advance.

  4. BulletThe inn is not set up for the very young and we request no children under six.

  5. BulletWe have a no smoking policy and do not accept pets.

  6. BulletCheck In after 4 PM and Check Out by 11 AM, unless arranged otherwise in advance.

  7. BulletParking is off the street.  If you have a boat on a trailer, we can accommodate parking.

  8. BulletIf both the Peach and Lavender double bed rooms are booked at the same time with friends or family and share a bathroom, then the rate for the two rooms is discounted to $85 each plus tax.

  9. BulletThere is a single bedroom that joins the Victorian Suite available for $65 per night plus tax.

  10. BulletMaryland Tax is 6% and Kent County Room Tax is 5%.
